With the development of technology, phones have become a small computer. Social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter have become popular among people with the output of smartphones. However, there are many damages against the benefits of smart phones and social media. People can share an event, a photo or anything with millions of people within seconds. This situation has revealed the concept of Citizen Journalism . Every individual has been able to share an incident or encountered on the street as journalists. Unclear news has caused a great deal of information pollution. Oxford University's Reuters Institute's' Digital News Report 2018, '' says In a survey of 37 countries also attended the most dezonformasyo to visit the country from 49% Turkey, 44% in Greece, 42% in Hungary, is followed by Romania with 38%. In our country, this rate has reached 30% and the rate of people who do not know the news that they see on the internet is 69%. In this context, we have decided to realize our project because of the increasing fake news in the world and the high level of dezenformation in our country. Our general aim is to inform the youth about the accurate and fake news and to raise awareness about the increasing fake news in the social media and to raise awareness of the accuracy of the news they see on the internet.
The objectives of our project:
1-) To create awareness on the concept of ’’ Fake News".
2-) To create awareness , against the fake news they read on the internet or encountered in life.
3-) To show young people how to write news with visits to agencies and local newspapers.
4-) While teaching the concept of ‘fake news’ to people on the street through various practices, to enable young people to talk about this concept with the people around them.
