Existence and Well-Being in the Digital Age: Our New Erasmus+ Project Has Been Approved!
**Important Note:** This project is implemented with grant support from the European Union and the Spanish National Agency (**INJUVE**).

As **ASOC CENTRO HISPANO TURCO ANATOLIA**, we are focusing on one of the greatest needs of young people and youth workers in the digital age: **”Digital Self and Reality – Existence and Well-Being in the Digital Age”**. With this new project, accepted by the Spanish National Agency, we are embarking on a journey to explore the balance between digital identity and true self.
### Why This Project?
The effects of our digital footprints, social media algorithms, and constant online activity on our mental health are now an undeniable reality. Our project aims to strengthen the social participation of young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, by increasing their digital literacy, critical thinking, and emotional resilience skills.
### Project Goals:
* **Digital Literacy and Awareness:** To enable young people to analyze their online behavior and become aware of their “digital footprint.”
* **Emotional Well-being:** To support the mental health of young people through methods of coping with stress created by the digital world, mindfulness, and digital detox simulations.
* **Innovation in Youth Work:** To increase the capacity of practitioners by integrating digital tools such as podcasts, video production, and blogs into youth work. * **Social Inclusion:** To give young people, whose access to opportunities is limited due to economic or geographical barriers, active roles in an international learning environment.
### Participant Profile and International Cooperation
Our project will be realized in partnership with 7 institutions from 6 different countries. In this intensive 8-day program, which will include a total of **34 participants** (4 young people, 1 trainer, and 1 facilitator from each country), gender balance and equal opportunity will be our fundamental principles.
### 8-Day Transformative Program:
Our activities are designed using non-formal education methods:
* **Digital Identity Scene:** The conflict between online and offline selves through creative drama.
* **The Social Dilemma:** Documentary analysis and writing a personal “Digital Manifesto”.
* **Stress Radar:** Recognizing digital triggers and creating a “Digital Well-being Box”.
* **Media Literacy:** Combating disinformation and “Content Detective” games.
* **Ecological Digital Footprint:** Calculating digital carbon footprint and raising awareness about e-waste.
### Dissemination and Sustainability
Our project will not be limited to participants; we aim to reach at least **600 young people and 30 institutions** through workshops, peer training, and social media content. Participants will document their acquired skills with a **Youthpass** certificate, contributing to their professional development.
We continue to work for a youth that manages the digital world and protects its own well-being, instead of getting lost in it!
