As ASOC CENTRO HISPANO TURCO ANATOLIA, we are proud to add another strong international link to our work in the youth field. Our project, “Contributing to European peace through the universal power of music”, which aims to use the universal power of music for peace and social inclusion, has received official approval!

Project Aim and Vision
We are focusing on the “healing power of art,” one of the most effective tools for overcoming obstacles such as social isolation, exclusion, and prejudice that young people face today. With our project, we aim to enable young people to express themselves, support them in embracing their cultural identities, and see differences as a richness.

Grand Gathering in Madrid: 40 Young People, 5 Countries
This 10-day youth exchange, hosted by Spain, will bring together 40 young people from Turkey, Hungary, Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Spain in Madrid. The majority of our participants will be young people with social, economic, or geographical limitations; thus, we will ensure equal opportunities under the unifying umbrella of music.

What We Aim For?
Breaking Down Prejudices: To develop a culture of tolerance by raising awareness about the causes of social exclusion.
Strengthening Social Bonds: To foster empathy and express emotions through music workshops and collaborative productions.
Cultural Dialogue: To enable young people from different countries to get to know each other’s cultural codes and musical motifs.
Self-Confidence and Responsibility: To enhance the organizational and leadership skills of young people by supporting their active participation.
What’s on the Event Calendar?
Throughout the project, participants will not only be passive listeners but also active architects of the process:
Musical Storytelling: Sharing personal and cultural stories through melodies.
Rhythm and Nature Workshops: Sound production and collaborative performances using natural objects.
“Open Space” Sessions: Creative spaces where young people design and present their own workshops.
Street Performance: A grand final concert with the local community under the concept of “Music on the Street”.

Investing in the Future
At the end of the project, participants will not only have unforgettable memories but will also formalize their acquired skills with a Youthpass certificate. Furthermore, the foundations for new collaborations under Erasmus+ will be laid through “Future Project Design” sessions.

Continue following us on this journey where music amplifies silenced voices and peace is woven with notes!
