Spain Leads Sensory Motor Innovation in Youth Work
Spanish team facilitated inclusive workshops and hosted the sensory-motor implementation session with strong local impact
This series of newsletters documents key moments, activities and outcomes of the Erasmus+ youth exchange project
“Hearing, Feeling, Acting: In Search of Neurodevelopmental Change in Youth!”, held in Collado Mediano, Spain, from 11–18 January 2025.
Each newsletter provides a visual and written summary of the daily workshops, cultural exchanges, participant reflections and learning outcomes. Special focus is given to inclusive, sensory-motor-based activities that supported the personal growth of young people—especially those with fewer opportunities, including youth with neurodevelopmental challenges, mental health conditions, economic barriers or marginalised identities.
The newsletters also highlight interactions with the local community, creative group tasks (such as the “Mission Impossible” challenge) and public events like the NGO Fair and Cultural Nights. By sharing these materials, we aim to inspire other organisations and youth workers across Europe to apply similar inclusive and experiential learning methods.
All newsletters were created collaboratively by participants and team members and form part of the project’s broader dissemination strategy.
