Tips for a Quality Life

A project focusing on developing healthier lifestyles and well-being habits among young people.

15/11/2025

Our project was funded and implemented by the European Union and the Spanish National Agency (INJUVE).

Our attitudes and the way we spend our time determine our character and therefore our happiness. The inability to manage time well in the rush to adapt to the rapidly developing technological world, and the wrong lifestyle habits we acquire, make us socially inadequate and unhappy; in the long term, they also cause many health problems. An unhealthy eating plan, consuming harmful foods, a sedentary lifestyle, sleep problems and extreme stress directly affect both our health and our happiness.

Unfortunately, this wrong lifestyle – which is a common problem of modern people, especially young people – factors such as poor eating habits, misuse of time, irregular sleep patterns and a life away from sports, has a direct impact on the quality of life of individuals, in addition to their health and happiness. Fast food being easy to eat in the daily rush, and especially young people spending their free time only in front of the computer, television, internet and screens, staying inactive and away from social activities, cause an unhealthy, immobile and unhappy generation.

Taking all this into account, the project was gathered under the name of “quality life”, which includes all these dimensions. The aim is to help young people realise their wrong habits and to increase their competences in order to lead a healthier and happier life.

Purposes of our project:

Our project will increase the competencies of young people to live a better quality life by making them aware of their wrong habits. Although there are many criteria for a quality life, considering the duration of the project, the most common and most life-affecting values have been emphasised, and our specific objectives are determined as follows:

  1. To teach the concept of time management to young people and help them become aware of using their leisure time with the right activities.
  2. To provide information about healthy foods and to teach the effect of proper nutrition and regular sleep on a quality life.
  3. To explain the importance of sports activities for the physical and mental health of young people and how these activities improve quality of life.
  4. To encourage young people to a quality life by increasing their interest in nature.
  5. To encourage young people to volunteer in order to increase their quality of life and to help them become proactive individuals.
