Mindfulness vs Autism
A capacity-building programme integrating mindfulness and yoga-based methods to support young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This project aimed to strengthen the competencies of youth workers and institutions supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. By integrating mindfulness practices and yoga-inspired methods, the programme focused on reducing stress and anxiety while improving physical and emotional well-being. Through breathing exercises, movement awareness, relaxation techniques, and walking meditation, participants learned tools to enhance non-verbal communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction. The project fostered international cooperation and promoted long-term inclusion strategies for individuals with ASD.
